Whether you are a complete beginner, an experienced diver, used to warm water or cold, dive Scapa Flow with Scapa Scuba -Orkney's only PADI Dive Centre!
Home to the German High Seas Fleet that was scuttled here on 21st June 1919, Scapa Flow is undoubtedly one of the best dive sites in the world.
By offering a full range of dive courses and guided dives Scapa Scuba makes Scapa Flow accessible to all level of divers.
We specialise in small groups and individuals so whether you are on you’re own, or part of a group - we will be delighted to take you diving!

Alongside the PADI dive school and the Red Shed Dive Shop we have the on-site facilities to manufacture made to measure neoprene diving dry suits. We have been manufacturing and repairing dry suits on site here at Scapa Scuba since 1997. Over the years ‘Scapa Scuba’ dry suits have earned a great reputation in the industry. Increasingly we are being asked to export our suits abroad as their popularity increases with both commercial and recreational divers alike. We also offer a fantastic Overnight Repair Service and equipment servicing for the Scapa Flow Wreck divers. A saving grace for many! Your suit will be repaired overnight, returned to your boat and be waiting as good as new for you to dive with the next morning.

If you want to buy new kit, replace your existing stuff or if you need any advice, please pop by the Red Shed Dive Shop to see us. We stock a wide range of dive kit, we happily do mail order and also some great package deals! Major refurbishment took place in the winter of 2003/2004 at the Scapa Scuba headquarters (the Old Lifeboat Station, Stromness). Increased demand for our high quality dry suits meant we had to build a split level 'mezzanine' floor to accommodate the dry suit business. This was also good news for the Red Shed Shop; with the floor space more than doubled we have a much bigger shop and hold even more stock. Come and see the transformation!!!
